Butter-Basted Tenderloin Steak



2 Ranchly Tenderloin Steaks

1 tsp avocado oil

3 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, smashed

5 sprigs of thyme

5 peppercorns



Heat cast iron skillet over med-high heat until smoking hot. Season steak liberally with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Add oil to hot pan. Sear steak on all sides, about four minutes. Turn heat down to medium.  Add butter to pan and melt butter until frothy. Add garlic, thyme and peppercorns to butter. USING TOWEL hold the handle of pan and tilt toward you. Spoon butter over steaks for about 2 minutes and remove from pan. Let rest for 4 minutes. Enjoy!
